Milan midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko assures “with time you’ll see” the player who impressed at Monaco.
The Frenchman had a difficult season at Chelsea last term, and was loaned out to the Rossoneri.
His performances have been unimpressive though, with some suggestions he could even be sent back to west London.
“I’ve been very well received,” Bakayoko assured in the Press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Real Betis game.
“It’s a good group and my integration has gone very well, I’m trying to adapt the way I play. The best of me has yet to come and it’d be better to play a bit more, but I’m already seeing improvements.
“A lot of things have changed, it’s a new league and a new style of football but I’m trying to give my best.
“With time you’ll see the Bakayoko you talk about.”
The midfielder also reflected on the Derby della Madonnina defeat to Inter, as well as previewing tomorrow’s game.
“It’s never nice to lose in the last minute, we’re disappointed but defeat is part of life. Now we’re focused on tomorrow’s match.
“It’ll be a difficult game, Betis are a good team. It’ll be important to win and try to reach nine points for qualification.”
