Ex-Premier League boss is heading to the jungle on the hit ITV show
Former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp has signed up for hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, it has been reported.
The ex-Tottenham and West Ham boss, if the speculation is correct, will head to the jungle when the show starts next month.
The Mirror also suggest Redknapp, 71, will be joined by DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles, The Chase star Ann Hegarty, and Coronation Street actress Sair Khan.
It’s believed the former QPR boss has been asked on numerous occasions to be on the show but previously declined all offers.
It is also reported he will earn £100,000 for his spell Down Under.
A spokesperson for ITV told The Sun Online: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation.
Meanwhile, his resilience in the jungle may come into question given previous comment about his private life.
Redknapp relies on his wife Sandra a lot and believes he’d have a tough time without her.
He said: “I wouldn’t cope. I’m useless. She treats me like a baby.
“She does everything. I can’t cook, I can’t make a coffee, I can’t do nothing.”
Meanwhile, given his reaction to David Bentley dunking water over his head in 2010 when Tottenham Hotspur qualified for the Champions League, it will be interesting to see how he deals with trials Down Under.
