Lionel Messi will miss both Champions League clashes between Barcelona and Inter after fracturing his arm.
The two giants are set to meet at Camp Nou on Wednesday evening, then at San Siro on November 6.
The Argentine lasted just over 10 minutes in this evening’s 4-2 win over Sevilla and had scored a goal, but fell awkwardly on to his right arm.
It turned quite badly on the turf as he fell and was painful enough that he had to be substituted.
Barcelona medical staff confirmed a fracture to the radial bone in his right arm, so Messi should be out of action for three to four weeks.
Not only will he miss the Inter games, but also next week’s La Liga Clasico with Real Madrid.
