Simone Verdi could miss Napoli’s next two games after picking up a thigh injury against Udinese on Saturday.
Verdi pulled up just four minutes into Napoli’s 3-0 win at Friuli, and a medical report on the Partenopei’s official website confirmed he had suffered a ‘strain to his left thigh’.
Consequently, the Italy attacker is likely to miss his side’s upcoming matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Roma.
The 26-year-old joined Napoli from Bologna in a €25m deal over the summer and has scored one goal in six appearances at the San Paolo.
